As an intrapreneur and entrepreneur for 20+ years, a Mompreneur for 2 with her first college aged scholarship/honors Millennial grad in 2018, and a focus on doing more self care, Dawn has proven experience in building brands, businesses and organizations. Dawn will share with you key frameworks and help you with resonant
brand positioning and consumer understanding to take your business to the next level!
Dawn earned her BA in Economics with a minor in Management and Organization at Spelman College, and her MBA at Harvard Business School focused on Marketing and Organizational Development.
She has concentrated her career on helping to build Billion and Multi Billion Dollar Brands (Olay, Crest/Oral B, Always, Charmin, Pantene), Multicultural Impact Programs (My Black is Beautiful co-founder; Shea Moisture Leadership/Strategy Consultant; Guest Lecturer for Brand Equity, Career & Diversity at Miami Univ. of Ohio and Spelman College; and Girls STEM/STEAM Academy leader), and Innovation/Start Ups (Vistaprint Digital, Glad Press n’ Seal/Impress global launch as former P&G Marketing Director, etc.). Dawn’s Mantra is #setthestandard as she continues to mentor many from corporations and larger start ups, who are seeking ways to level up.
Dawn started reading at the age of 3, and was encouraged to have big dreams and share persuasive stories as she was her Grandma’s soap opera watching partner before pre-school lessons. Dawn’s dreams included creating learning environments, collaborating with colleagues, building things that would positively impact the world, and nurturing others curiosity and passion to live their best life.
Dawn has deep research & consumer understanding focused on Women; Multicultural (African American/Black, Latino/Hispanic, Asian) and Millennials. Dawn recently completed an LGBTQ study for Latinum Network/Collage.
